pennystock fun

bollinger bands

for the last 8 months or so, i've been monitoring bollinger bands on charts and how they move when certain levels are hit, widening of the bands, etc etc. I'm uploading this picture to show a friend how LBSR looked the few days before it moved another 10000%. As always, timeframe is important..

VKNG

When I look at VKNG, I see a catalyst beginning of October, a trend forming, and a retracement coming in.

Notice how the pattern has formed so far, and notice how it reacted at the first retracement, and now forming resistance at the 2nd retracement.

My trade on this goes:

Sell .60, re-evaluate, sell .72.
Another approach is to ss it at these levels

This is a prediction, according to Fibonacci ahead of the action. Now see it in real time. (doesn't mean it goes straight to those levels. could easily fail here as easy as it skip levels, but it will follow them nicely)

So again, .60 --> .72 --> .86 --> 1.09

Don't be afraid to sell it early.

This trade will be verified via profit.ly

the mentality of an a.d.d. trader

An overlay of the Dow Jones and this pos penny stock.

Every one of you traders who look at every price movement as a pump, you can stay in your sheltered frame of mind. You give traders a bad name. I bet there's a million other stocks that look like this and you have no concept of trading outside a time frame of an hour or two, nor what's going on in the world.

I'm referring to Kris at www.prophetalerts.com

This guy is a fraud. Likely he won't respond to this because he knows if he does, he'll eventually have to prove that he's not - and we can't have that, we'll discover that he is in fact a scam.

importance of time frame

See www.prophetalerts.com for Kris' attack on sykes for front-running

In the video he states "there is no breakout," sarcastically says "it's lookin like a breakout!" while zoomed in within a 30minute time period on the 1minute chart, "this does not look like a breakout to me."
"Would you feel comfortable buying 20,000 shares of this stock?"

Then when I confront him on the timeframe, he laughs and says
"No one.. I mean NO ONE uses a 60 min chart on a volatile chart. POS pennystocks can change direction in 1 second, why would you be watching to see what it does in a 1hr timeframe? Seriously, your not trading AAPL or GOOG. Bad idea."
me

NO WONDER why www.timothysykes.com calls you a fraud and a coward. You have no concept of time frame. Nobody trades looking at a 60min chart?? I don't put on a trade without looking at a 60min chart first! You, Kris, in my mind, have confirmed yourself to be a FRAUD. Why do people start up pay services? Because they are horrible traders and need a) the supplemental income b) because they are unable to trade with a clear mind and lack discipline.
So you sell a service where it's likely you LIE and EXAGERRATE your sizes when you trade. And people are paying you $50/month?

It's clear to me you have NO IDEA what you're doing and have no concept of trading outside of scalping and trading cowardly.

Here's a 60min chart on GSLO. Looking at my entry below, you can see where Sykes bought.

Nobody uses a 60min chart

You're a fraud and a liar.

once in a trend, how to buy more

Note, this only works if the trend is higher! Which you don't TRULY know until the trend is over. However, this is how you're supposed to play the trend.. Where it stops, could be next week

Thursday, September 2, 2010

Regretfully, I fear this is the beginning of the end

The possibility of trending lower, leaving short opportunities left to scalping opportunities only is great one

At least its low risk... if you know what I'm saying here.

Dow Jones will break March 2009 Lows

For the very few of you who might stop by periodically, you might remember when in March/April 09, I was calling for the market to rally to at the very least 9400. The precise area didn't matter as much as the bounce did.
I don't come up with this stuff on my own. I don't guess. I work with experienced people who have been involved in the market for 30+ years and they've passed on to me their own experience and knowledge.

Well folks, I have another revelation for everybody. The Dow Jones Industrial Average will easily be heading toward March 09 lows. This isn't a "test" of those lows.. as if we make it there, we are going down another 1500pts. Expect it.. prepare for it. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. I am selling everything I have.. I must gather as much capital as possible for this I feel is my opportunity to grow exponentially.

Once again prepare for a MARKET SELL OFF OF A LIFETIME!

I and those I work with have been calling for the top in the market since APRIL 2010. If you notice, that is where the highs are.

Now I can't tell you that you should go all in and wait for it to tank - no that would be unwise. The only way to do it is to trade it, building core positions for downside momentum.

That is all I can say for now.

Good luck.

Zoho - a documentation tool

I found this little browser extension for google chrome. I'm going to use it for web clippages, url pastes, and general info on various publicly traded biotech/pharma companies. I will be using this along with http://collectivestock.com/software/ for storing due diligence.
This is a screenshot of Collectivestock News Diligence - Due diligence software, created by the owner of Collectivestock.com. Download it and use it.

I should have more of these in the coming weeks. So far I've started on AGEN and a little HNAB.
Trading is 30% research, 30% risk management, and 60% confidence. Below are my small examples of how I will be using Zoho.

Fibonacci reversals

I find that the most useful "fibonacci" level is 50%. It's middle ground; a solid key point for basing entries and exits - this is off both the intraday and daily charts. ZANE reversed at 50% off the daily chart (not quite a reversal but a bounce), ABIO finds support intraday at 50% near 4.13. The initial breakout on SOMX retraced to 50%. 50%, while isn't a true fib, represents the mid point. It's the equilibrium between buyers and sellers.
If you're looking for entry - 50% provides both support and resistance, and is a decent level to decide if you should enter a trade, or exit a trade if it breaks it. This works on all time frames, in my experience.

PALM

A few charts..

Fibs showing possible support area down here

A minimal retracement puts it right back toward the upper base of the gap at 7.21. An easy play here on any further downside, which will require me to adjust the fib lower as it puts in new lows. I prefer to play these on a gap down, but they can turn up on you without warning. we will see.

ZANE - fun with fibonacci

Is ZANE going to 2.35 > 1.97 > 1.60 > 1.06
Or is it going to 4.60s from here?
Below are my charts.

I figured I'd start posting my charts ahead of time, so people can see how powerful this stuff is.

BPMA going to .50?

Yes I know it seems ridiculous, but I've been reading about this company for the last 6 months. Needless to say, the global market collapse has done a lot of damage to OTC stocks. If what I've found on BPMA is true and there is more news ahead, I would expect BPMA to go to .50 minimum.

I'm not gonna say for sure, as it's always wise to take profits. .88 is the next level

See you chasers there!

*ADVENTRX Pharma Receives Refuse To File Letter From FDA On ANX-530 New Drug Application

This is bad short term news for ANX. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time now. This is my chart of ANX that I will be using for potential support. The next retracement level is .18 and which is confirmed by the 200dma. Support is also found in there. I will be watching for a bounce from this level

Everybody's a skeptic of Fibonacci

I can give 10 reasons why, but the number 1 reason why is simply because they don't understand how to apply it.

Here is a chart of RAS.
Notice that the first retracement was breeched, then bounced off the 2nd retracement of 1.94ish. .02c off. I sold RAS at 1.88, before it hit the target of 1.94 (better safe than sorry). Notice that it bounced at 1.92. So how do you play RAS at this point??
Well do you see the flag building on a daily? If that holds up and it begins to pop over the pole of 1.92 and holds, your next target is 2.23, and depending on if that level is breeched heavily (note how it reacted at 1.53) you can assume it'll move to 2.52. I would sell in the 2.40s if it went there taking half off in the 2.20 area.
You have to play the breakouts on these things. You don't buy a flag, you buy when it takes out the previous high out.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is one technique of many in applying fibonacci.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

ADXS buy signal

I was looking through charts and decided to pull up an ADXS weekly...

I say the chart speaks for itself. Some fundamental analysis will be needed, but the chart definitely has my attention now.

I threw some fibs on it to get a few targets. What I've noticed is that if a price bounces off the 61.8 first, a retest and a breakout will move past the 50% and head to 38.2%...
So as of tonight, I am putting a .33c target on ADXS *IF* it can break the high of .21, which would reflect a 95% gain.

fibonacci won't tell you when to exit, but where to exit

GETA

I, like many traders, attempt to buy lower, and sell higher. GETA is a fine example of a chart with enough support to be considered for a bounce. Given GETA's pennystock nature, TA is by no means 100% accurate, nor is it on any stock, however, if you follow my strategy of NOT taking a loss, this is an easy, easy play.

So where do you buy?

You would BUY IT DOWN HERE.

This is a pretty obvious play, imo. You can't go wrong.

The strategy:
Take your original typical trade amount, split it into a quarter, and buy anything around .10
Wait for a signal
Signal 1: A move toward .14, a possible break, and then a dip toward .10 support.
Signal 2: A gap down plus a huge volume spike (Preferably at .01, where .01 represents the extreme low point at which speculators enter a trade

Once you get this signal, you buy another quarter of the position. A break of support of .07, a gap down to .01 and a spike to .05, even .03, GETA would easily represent a gain of 300%-500% on the 2nd trade, eliminating the loss from the original .10c trade.

Targets:
If .10 is SUPPORT and holds, .19/.20 is the first target, which has already been tested. TAKE PROFITS HERE. One must assume that the next bearish bounce will be .28 (see the fibonacci retracement). A test of .35 will signal a further breakout down the road. However, you don't care where it will be 5 months from now. You want to take profits at these targets! You can always buy it back, trust me. This thing isn't going to .41 anytime soon

I've laid out a few charts. The hourly chart still shows weakness still and is not a definite signal for upside. Support around .10/.07 should still be maintained on any downside.
The daily chart shows potential targets and where this practically dead stock should bounce
Notice the long consolidation on the daily and the rising RSI, signalling upside.

Easy play here, folks, if you follow my strategy. Any questions?
